Build trust with attestations

Attestations are the foundation of decentralized trust, and they are fundamentally simple. An attestation is a digital record, essentially a piece of information about anything, that is signed by a credible source. This is critical for establishing trust and credibility online, especially when face-to-face interactions or physical presence are absent, making it hard to verify the accuracy or reliability of information.

Attestations provide third-party validation and offer a cryptographically signed assurance of the authenticity of a piece of information. This makes it significantly easier for others to place trust and rely on that information.
